Intro to Tipping Point

So far the Tipping Point seems to be a very interesting book. As I might not been able to make a connection with his example of hush puppies, I did make a connection with another example, NYC's crime rate ( as I am a big fan of the famous show Cops.)

I find it interesting how Malcom Gladwell uses these examples to introduce his book. But what I find most interesting in the opening is in part "4." In "4." it explains the three rules of the Tipping Point including the Law of Few, Sickness Factor and the power of context. And these laws help explain the reason of certain epidemics. The Tipping Point also helps explain why these epidemics like hush puppies, smoking, crime or books/movies become in style or popular or how they lose popularity.
